Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is for people involved in a relationship gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict, and improve relationship satisfaction utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions. Our therapist will begin with standard interview questions such as history of the relationship, each partner’s family-origin, values, and cultural background. The crisis interventions may be discussed during the first session. The therapist will focus on specific issues (include infidelity, anger, financial problems, illness, or other life changes) from each partner that is contributing to conflict. The sessions are designed to improve problem-solving, communication skills, and identify life goals and relationship responsibilities.

 

The sessions will be recurrent weekly or bi-weekly and 50 minutes in length.

Family Therapy

Family therapy helps family members improve communication and solve conflicts. It helps improve difficult relationships between partners, children and/or other family members. It helps family members to understand each other better and learn ways to improve overall quality of relationship. Family members learn coping skills to manage family situations causing stress, grief and conflict among loved ones.

The sessions will be recurrent weekly or bi-weekly and 50 minutes in length.
