Dr. Nibras is a double board-certified psychiatrist in both child/adolescent and adult psychiatry.
His journey into higher education began at Saint Louis University, where he completed his bachelor. He received Doctor of Medicine at the American University of Integrative Science. Later, Dr. Nibras returned to St. Louis and completed his general psychiatry residency training at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Then, Dr. Nibras completed his fellowship in child and adult psychiatry at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2020.
During his practice, he excelled in treatments based on psychiatric care and therapeutic sessions. Alongside, he delivered psychiatric services with empathy, professionalism, and a solution-driven approach. Moreover, at Gateway Foundation rehab facility, he provided care to patients experiencing substance abuse disorders.
He is currently an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine and the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in Houston, Texas. Also, his passion to help people with mental illnesses drove him to serve at Texas Children’s Hospital as an attending psychiatrist. Hence, Dr. Nibras is an active participant in mental health treatment by training future psychiatrists and engaging in scholarly research projects.
