Yes, we understand audio-visit appointments may not be best for your situation. During our 15 minutes free phone call, we will determine if in-person or online visit will work best for you. You can request a free 15-min initial phone consultation with us by visiting the “New Clients” tab. During the phone call, we will discuss what you are looking for in treatment and to see if our practice might be the right fit for you. If we both agree to move forward, we will schedule an initial diagnostic appointment.
During the first appointment, we will sit down and listen to you, review your medical, psychiatric, social history, and work with you to figure out what may be causing your psychiatric symptoms. We will clarify your diagnosis and make individualized treatment recommendations, and referral resources. Our physician will also review your past medical records and talk to your other providers, if necessary.
Disclaimer: The first evaluation does not establish an ongoing treatment relationship. Our doctor will help you locate resources to other specialists or treatment programs if you require a higher level of psychiatric care.
Our doctor will work with you to form a personalized treatment plan to determine the follow-up visitations based on your clinical diagnosis. Typically, patients are seen between every 2 weeks and/or every 2 months for medication management depending on the complexity of clinical diagnosis. For concurrent therapy and medication visits, patients are seen weekly or biweekly.
